Jericho Brown, Youth Director
Jericho Brown has been the youth director at Lafayette Community Church for 3 years. He enjoys spending time with the youth kids, sharing with them the love of Jesus Christ, and taking them on fun adventures. His passion and heart is to share the Gospel with every child in Lafayette and beyond. He loves to see the kids reactions to hearing the truth of the gospel for the first time. It is exciting to watch as they grow and acknowledge Jesus as their personal Savior. His favorite verse is Ephesians 2:8-9, “For it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast.”
When he is not busy spending time with the youth, he enjoys hunting and fishing with his wife Ashley, and spending quality time with her and their two dogs Timber and June.
Ashley Brown, Girls Youth Leader
Ashley Brown has been working alongside Jericho for the last 3 years. She has a heart of compassion for the youth of our community. Her desire is to reach every young girl with the truth of the gospel, to teach them that they are important, and to show them that God’s love for them is greater than anything. She also has a heart for worship and enjoys leading the teens in songs and seeing their excitement to sing praises to our Savior. Her favorite verse right now is Psalm 139:13-14, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
When she is not helping at youth group she is working at P.M.C. as a Medical Assistant. She enjoys playing the piano, reading, hiking and going hunting and fishing with Jericho.
