Jericho Brown, Youth Director
Jericho Brown has been involved with youth ministry for over ten years. He enjoys spending time with the youth, sharing with them the love of Jesus Christ. His passion and heart is to share the Gospel with every teen in Lafayette and beyond. He loves to see the kids’ reactions to hearing the truth of the gospel for the first time. It is exciting to watch as they grow spiritually and acknowledge Jesus as their personal Savior, and watching the Bible come to life before their eyes. His favorite verse is Ephesians 2:8-9:
“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so that no one can boast.”
When Jericho is not busy spending time with the youth, he enjoys quality time with his wife, Ashley, and their sons, Levi and Linus, in the great outdoors.
Ashley Brown, Girls Youth Leader
Ashley Brown has been working alongside Jericho for the last 5years. She has a heart of compassion for the youth of our community. Her desire is to reach every young girl with the truth of the gospel, to teach them that they are important, and to show them that God’s love for them is greater than anything. She also has a heart for worship. One of her favorite things is leading the teens in worship songs and seeing them sing praises to our Savior. Her favorite verse right now is Psalm 139:13-14, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
When she is not helping Jericho at youth group she is working as the Dayton school district secretary and taking care of their sons, Levi & Linus. She enjoys playing the piano, reading, hiking, and going hunting and fishing with Jericho and their sons.
